A few years ago I was hired on an editorial to photograph a few new breweries in town. The feature was more of a listing of what and where but when I started meeting the brewers at each place I asked if I could come back. I asked if they could refer me to others and went to a few monthly meetings they had. I got to know a handful of them while bulding a Brew Masters Series which led to chefs. Which also led to working for magazines and design firms to continue the series.

My family imigrated to the United States to work in the restuarant industry and my Uncle was president of the local chapter of the Culinairy institute of America so I have always admired them. The pressure they endure to what they create for others to enjoy is admirable.
